This past weekend represented an especially positive moment as Todd donned the captain’s armband, while Gonzalez earned Man of the Match while notching an assist on Le Rouge’s second goal as they cruised to a 5-0 win over FC Indiana.

Gonzalez played a role in the first goal, as well. After his cross into the box was deflected away for a corner Deakin found Moussa Gueye to open the scoring just seven minutes in.
Well done by @Ohhh_Geee_10 to whip in a cross that was punched away by the goalkeeper in the buildup to Deakin’s corner! #DCTID

Todd played his part too in the win swinging a cross in to Daniel Wright, who notched his first goal with the club, to help extend the lead to 5-0 in the final minutes. That goal came just minutes after Todd was able to find a lane on a counter setting up Shawn Lawson, who had his shot blocked.
83′ – Max Todd does well on a City counter. He finds Shawn Lawson across. Shawn sends his defender flying with a quick cut in the box, but the shot is blocked. #DCTID
